I am a 52 year old mother and grandmother. I started out at 5'4, 146 pounds and seriously out of shape, physically and mentally
I had not exercised in about 20 or so years and over the last 3 years had gained around 20 pounds since starting to work from home.
I felt fat, fatigued and depressed most of the time. I spent my days sitting in front of my computer in my home office and eating more than I should because I was home and it was just so easy!
I didn't really want to do anything and didn't really care what I wore as nothing looked good anyway.
At the end of the day, even though I had been sitting behind the desk, I was run down and tired.
The first couple of weeks were tough after being sedentary for so long and I almost quit a couple of times, BUT I didn't.
After I go through this, I started looking forward to the mornings so I could workout! As I continued, I started seeing progress and that just made me want to push harder and keep going. It wasn't easy at all, but it so rewarding.
I started feeling much stronger, noticed some changes in my body, and had gained a lot of energy and stamina.
I lost 10.6 pounds and 11.5 inches!!
I took a week off and I'm starting another cycle. I kept track of my reps and times over the challenge and I'm going to increase them this time and pay closer attention to the diet plan.
I can't wait to see the results this time as I am completely stoked and ready!
